We are an independent Christian charitable trust and were formed in 2000. We operate in Felixstowe, Woodbridge and the surrounding areas.

We operate three physical stores, an online store, and our community cafe located on Langley Avenue in Felixstowe.

We started our food redistribution model, known as community pop-up shops or 'top-up shops',

in March 2013 and have seen it replicated throughout the country!

In March 2013 BASIC pioneered the Pop-Up shop/ Top-Up shops. This was replicated across the country!

We currently fund three primary schools in Felixstowe with free breakfasts.

We are committed to being highly responsive to the local community's needs.

We offer local individual support for anyone facing hardship.
